New York Sky Blues

More Than Just a Supporters’ Club

Founded in 2007, the New York Sky Blues are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the oldest and largest Manchester City Official Supporters Club branch in North America.

Since 2016, Spencer has also been the Social Media Director of the New York Sky Blues, the New York City branch of Manchester City’s Official Supporters Club and a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. His responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing their social media pages (Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube), which boast over 86,000 combined followers as of October 2024

  • Building and maintaining their official website, creating all content, including copy and Photoshop edits

  • Conducting outreach to various organizations, influencers, and individuals in and around the soccer community in the United States and abroad

  • Organizing and managing member events, both independently and with City Football Group

  • Raising over $145,000 for charity by organizing fundraising events, partnering with City Football Group and corporate sponsors such as Carlsberg, Heineken, and Puma. These charitable and fundraising efforts have benefited City in the Community, and New York Common Pantry, amongst other organizations.

  • Making TV, press, and podcast appearances on the club's behalf, including on SiriusXM, Premier League Fanzone, City Matchday Live, and Manchester Evening News.
